FairPlay Rules and Regulations
FairPlay maintains strict rules and regulations to ensure fair, transparent, and secure gaming for all players. These rules govern how our platform operates, how bets are placed and settled, how sports results are determined, and how we maintain integrity across all gaming activities.

Gaming integrity is the foundation of FairPlay. Our comprehensive rules and regulations protect players, prevent fraud, and maintain fair outcomes across all betting markets and casino games. Understanding these rules helps you make informed betting decisions and protects your account.
General Rules and Platform Management
Platform Integrity
FairPlay operates as a regulated gaming platform committed to fair play standards. All games, betting markets, and transactions are governed by strict internal controls and external audits. We maintain transparency in odds calculation, market settlement, and result determination.
FairPlay reserves the right to suspend or close markets at any time to maintain platform integrity. While we aim to keep markets active as long as possible, we prioritize fair outcomes over extended betting windows. If a market needs suspension for integrity reasons, affected customers will be notified immediately.
Technology and System Management
FairPlay uses advanced technology to provide seamless gaming experiences. However, technical failures can occur despite our best efforts. We are not liable for losses caused by internet connectivity failures on your end, device malfunctions, telecommunication service interruptions, data center outages, or external cyber attacks.
If a technological failure is apparent to customers (for example, odds not updating or games freezing), you must report it to support immediately. If you continue betting despite apparent errors, FairPlay reserves the right to void those bets to protect your interests and prevent exploitation.
Market Suspension and Access Restrictions
FairPlay may restrict access to specific markets or entire market categories without prior notice if technical issues affect market integrity, unusual betting patterns suggest fraud, legal or regulatory concerns arise, events are cancelled, or suspicious activities are detected. During restrictions, no new bets can be placed, but existing bets remain valid and will be settled according to rules.
Managing Markets During Events (In-Play Rules)
In-Play Market Suspension
For most sports, markets are scheduled to transition from pre-play to in-play at specific times. FairPlay aims to suspend markets precisely at the scheduled time but does not guarantee exact timing. Delays of a few seconds to a few minutes can occur due to technical factors, broadcast delays, or information latency.
Late Bets After Official Start
If a market fails to suspend at the scheduled start time and bets continue to be placed, all bets matched after the official “off” time are voided if the market never transitions to in-play mode during the event. This rule protects bettors from unfair situations where they place bets without knowing actual event developments.
Material Events in Soccer
In soccer, specific events are considered “Material Events” requiring immediate market suspension including goals, penalties, and red cards. If FairPlay fails to suspend markets when these events occur, we reserve the right to void unfairly matched bets. This voiding can happen during the match or after completion, once events are confirmed.
VAR (Video Assistant Referee) Cancellations
If a goal is initially awarded but later cancelled via VAR review, all bets matched between the goal and its cancellation are voided. The cancellation creates an unfair betting situation, so affected bets are protected by voiding.
Live Broadcast Delays
Players should be aware that “live” broadcasts often have delays. Depending on your broadcast source, events may be delayed 5-30 seconds from actual occurrence. This means when you see an event and place an in-play bet, the actual event may have already happened moments before. FairPlay takes reasonable precautions to account for broadcast delays, but we cannot guarantee perfect timing.
Bet Settlement and Results Determination
Official Results and Governing Bodies
All sporting results are settled based on the official result announced by the relevant governing body. Subsequent disqualifications, appeals, or result amendments announced more than 24 hours after initial settlement are generally not considered. This rule provides finality and prevents endless disputes.
No Official Result Available
If no official result is published within a reasonable timeframe, FairPlay determines results using information from reputable independent sources. If new information emerges within 48 hours of settlement contradicting our determination, we may reinstate or resettle the market. Information received more than 48 hours after settlement is generally not reconsidered.
Uncertain Results
If significant uncertainty exists about the correct result, FairPlay may suspend settlement of a market for an extended period until uncertainty is resolved. In extreme cases where the result cannot be determined with reasonable confidence, FairPlay reserves the right to void the entire market and refund all bets.
Market Resettlement and Error Corrections
Correcting Settlement Errors
Markets are typically settled shortly after events conclude. However, FairPlay may amend settlements if the official result announced differs from our initial settlement, the entire market was voided, or a clear settlement error occurred. When corrections are made, customer account balances are adjusted accordingly, and you will be notified with clear explanations.
Courtesy Early Settlements
Sometimes FairPlay settles markets before official results are confirmed as a customer service benefit. However, we retain the right to reverse this settlement if the official result differs or the market is eventually voided.
Reversing Erroneous Settlements
If FairPlay settles a market in error, we will reverse the settlement and correct customer balances. This protects the integrity of our platform and ensures fair outcomes.
Non-Runners, Withdrawals, and Disqualifications
“All Bets Stand” Markets
Some markets are marked “All Bets Stand, Run or Not.” In these markets, all bets remain valid regardless of whether participants actually compete. Bets on non-participating selections are settled as losses.
Participants Who Don’t Compete
If a participant is scheduled but doesn’t start the event, bets on that participant are typically void unless the market is marked “All Bets Stand.” For example, if a horse is scratched from a race, bets on that horse are voided.
Withdrawal or Disqualification After Starting
If a participant starts the event but later withdraws, forfeits, or is disqualified, they are deemed a loser provided at least one other competitor completed the event. If no competitors complete the event, all bets are typically voided.
Abandonments, Cancellations, and Postponements
Three-Day Rule
If an event is not completed within three days after its scheduled completion date, FairPlay voids all bets (except unconditionally determined markets). This rule provides finality and prevents indefinite uncertainty.
For tournaments that span multiple days, if the tournament is not completed within 90 days of its scheduled completion, bets are voided unless the governing body announces an official decision within that timeframe.
Weather-Related Changes
If an event is shortened due to weather, bets are settled according to the official result using relevant rules. Weather-shortened results are valid and binding.
Non-Weather Abandonments
If an event is abandoned for reasons other than weather (crowd violence, pitch damage, strikes, security threats), FairPlay reserves the right to void all non-unconditionally-determined bets.
Venue Changes and Duration Modifications
Team Sports Venue Changes
For team sports, if the scheduled venue changes after the market is loaded and the new venue is the away team’s home ground, all bets are void. For other venue changes, bets typically stand.
Individual Sports Venue Changes
For individual sports, all bets generally stand regardless of venue changes. Surface changes within the same facility also don’t void bets.
Scheduled Duration Changes
If an event’s scheduled duration changes after the market is loaded but before it starts, all bets are typically voided. Players made betting decisions based on the original format.
Bet Duration and Time Periods
Regular Time Only
Most bets apply only to the regular time period of events. Football bets cover 90 minutes plus stoppage time (NOT extra time or penalties). Basketball bets cover regulation game (NOT overtime). Extra time, overtime, or penalty shootouts are NOT included unless specifically stated.
Stoppage Time Inclusion
Stoppage time or injury time is included in regular time. If an event occurs during stoppage time, it counts toward the regular time result.
Dead Heat Rule
What is a Dead Heat?
A dead heat occurs when multiple participants tie for first place when only one winner was expected.
Dead Heat Calculation
When a dead heat occurs, the stakes and winnings are divided proportionally:
Formula: Your stake × (Expected winners ÷ Actual winners) = Reduced stake
Winnings: Reduced stake × Odds = Your winning payment
If you bet ₹100 at 2.5 odds on one winner and two participants tie, your reduced stake = ₹50, and your winnings = ₹75 instead of ₹150.
Part B: Sport-Specific Rules
Cricket Rules
Ball Bowled Requirement
If no ball is bowled in a cricket match, all bets are void except for unconditionally determined markets. At least one ball must be bowled for most cricket bets to stand.
Weather-Shortened Matches
If a match is shortened by weather, bets are settled according to the official result including the Duckworth Lewis (DLS) method for rain-affected matches. DLS results are treated as official and valid.
Test Match Specific Rules
If a Test match is abandoned for non-weather reasons, FairPlay reserves the right to void all non-determined bets. If a Test match is not completed within five days of the scheduled completion date, all bets are void.
Limited Overs Match Rules
If a match is declared “No Result,” bets are void except for markets with unconditionally determined outcomes or where minimum overs were bowled. If a new toss takes place on a reserve day, all bets placed after 30 minutes before the original scheduled start are voided. If a super over ends in a tie, all super over bets are voided.
Session and Player Runs Markets
If a session is curtailed before the scheduled start, bets are settled normally. If curtailed after start, bets settle on the new stipulated innings length. If a session remains incomplete because a team is all out or declares, all bets remain valid and settle at the innings score.
Football (Soccer) Rules
Match Completion Requirement
Match odds bets apply to the full duration of play plus stoppage time. They do NOT include extra time or penalty shootouts unless specifically stated. A match must be completed for match odds to stand.
Match Not Starting
If a match hasn’t started by 23:59 local time on its scheduled date, all bets are void unless the match is rescheduled within three days.
Abandoned Matches
If a match starts but is abandoned and not completed within three days, all bets are void except unconditionally determined markets. If rescheduled within three days, bets placed before the market went in-play remain valid, while in-play bets are voided.
Team Disqualification
If a team is disqualified or removed before the season starts, all bets are void. If disqualified after the season starts, markets stand and the team is treated as relegated.
Goalscorer and Incident Markets
For goalscorer markets, only goals scored in the specified league or competition count. Incident count markets count incidents actually taken, not just awarded. Goal scorers determined using independent sources; if new information emerges within 48 hours, markets may be reinstated or resettled.
Tennis Rules
Retirement or Disqualification
If a player retires or is disqualified after at least one set is completed, the advancing player is deemed the winner. If retirement occurs before one full set is completed, all bets are voided.
First Set Betting
If the first set is not completed due to retirement, all first set and match bets are voided. If the first set is completed, bets stand.
Sets, Handicap, and Total Games Betting
If a match doesn’t complete, all sets, handicap, and total games bets are voided.
Venue and Surface Changes
All bets stand regardless of venue changes, surface changes, or changing between indoor and outdoor venues.
Pro Set and Super Tiebreak
If a match uses a Pro Set instead of standard length, all bets are refunded except first set line bets. If a match switches to super tiebreak, all bets are refunded except first set winner and match winner bets.
Horse Racing and Greyhound Racing
Non-Runner Rule
If a horse or dog doesn’t run, bets on that selection are void unless the market states “All Bets Stand, Run or Not.”
Disqualification After Race
If a horse/dog is disqualified after the race, the disqualified selection is deemed a loser.
Dead Heat Rule
If two or more horses tie for first place, the dead heat rule applies.
Fair Play and Integrity Policies
Cheating Prevention
FairPlay maintains zero tolerance for cheating including market manipulation, court siding (betting on inside information), sniping (exploiting odds after knowing outcomes), commission abuse, multi-account abuse, payment fraud, and system exploitation.
If fraud is detected, all related bets are voided, winnings forfeited, and accounts may be permanently suspended.
Integrity Investigations
FairPlay investigates unusual patterns including sudden betting volumes, suspicious odds movements, multiple accounts betting identically, and rapid geolocation changes. During investigations, your account may be temporarily restricted. Investigations are conducted fairly, and you will be informed of results. FairPlay’s decision in integrity matters is final and binding.
VPN and Proxy Usage
Using VPN, proxy servers, or location-masking technology is strictly prohibited. If detected, all bets are invalidated, accounts may be suspended, and winnings may be forfeited.
